Do not Listen to Those Warning Against the Vaccine; Returning to the Truth is Better than Persisting in Harm and Falsehood

2021-09-03-md-ghaalib-imptce-of-vaccines-emphasized-again

Shaykh Dr. Mohammad bin Ghalib al-Omari (may Allah preserve him) said:

أثبتت التجارب، ودل الواقع، وأيد ذلك توصيات المراكز الطبية، ثم القرارات الصادرة ثانيا، ثم وصايا العلماء بل ومبادرتهم، إلى أهمية أخذ التطعيم ضد الوباء، فلا ينبغي الإصغاء إلى أصوات تنادي بخلاف ذلك، مما أثبت الواقع بطلانها.

ونقول: الرجوع إلى الحقّ خير من التمادي في الضرر والباطل.

Experience (real-life interactions) has validated, and reality has proven, and further it is supported by the directives of the health centers, and then by governmental decisions secondly, and then by the advices of the scholars and even their own [personal] initiatives, [all of this demonstrates] the importance of taking the vaccine against the disease (Covid-19). So it is not appropriate to listen to voices which call to the opposite of that (i.e. those who warn against the vaccine), from that which reality has confirmed to be falsehood.

And so we say: Returning to the truth is better than persisting in harm and falsehood.

  1. Assalaamu aleikum brother.
May Almighty Allah bless you and those who are assisting you in maintaining this site.
I have an audio in which I would like you to hear….
This is what the core of it says …
The scholars are just obeying the rulers and saying what the rulers want them to say in relation to covid.
2….The scholars are taking their information from the scientists and medical professionals. And there is difference of opinions between the medical professional about covid. …
How can I forward this audio to you..
The harm is that new Muslim are hearing this stuff and are distrustful of the scholars.
May Almighty Allah safe guard us all from the harm of this virus and misguided people and their conspiracies. Ameen

    • Wa ‘alaykum as-Salaamu wa rahmatullaah. I do not want to hear it, so there is no need to send it to me. In this global pandemic, with over 4.5 million dead, it is extremely important to obey Allah and return these matters back to the senior scholars for rulings and recommendations. Follow Allah's Guidance and Be Safe!

  2. Amazing content. now a days many even salafees will hate you if you don’t shake hands with them following the advice. Usthad, what to do?!

    • Be patient, follow the advice that comes from senior scholars and reliable health officials, and be patient with the harms of the ignorant and the blame of the blamers. If you need to refrain from embracing someone or shaking hands, explain yourself clearly, “I love you for Allah’s sake and I want safety for myself and you.” I say to my brothers often, “Big hug in the heart,” with a smile. Not embracing and shaking hands is difficult on Muslims, so realize some people may be emotional and blame you for it. Be gracious, and be sincere to Allah, and then to His worshippers, and seek safety from Allah for you and them. This is my advice, and Allah knows best.

  3. What’s that preventative medicine and since when did Muslims believe in that. I thought you take medical treatments when one became ill. You just believed the fake stream media and went with the narrative. Why not listen to those scientists that are opposing the vaccines the likes of Robert ***… (comment abridged by admin)

    • Subhaan Allah. We are Muslims. We are calling the people to the Quran and Sunnah, upon the understanding of the Salaf, as applied by the leading scholars of Islam to a specific dilemma, in a very serious global emergency in which more than 4.5 million lives have been lost so far (according to the most recent numbers released by leading Muslim health officials). We are trying to obey Allah, as He commands us to return matters of broad concern and safety back to the scholars (who are the foremost people in speaking with knowledge, upon consultation with experts in specific fields when needed). (See the Verse below.) We share the statements of the scholars, the Mufti, Shaykh Fowzaan, the highest ranking Islamic scholars on the planet, and they say: Why don’t you listen to Robert So-and-So? Because Allah gave us better! Obey Allah and be rightly guided!
As for preventative medicine, then this is something established in Islam. Among the proofs for that is that the Prophet (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) taught us to eat seven ‘Ajwa dates in the morning as a prevention, to prevent being affected by poison or magic that day. (Saheeh al-Bukhaaree) Not sure if Dr. Robert So-and-So would agree to that, but why would Muslims care? We have a religion to follow, and we have revelation to learn and follow! May Allah aid us and keep us from harmful distractions and fruitless argumentation.

  4. السلام عليكم ورحمةالله وبركاته

Dear Ustādh, may Allaah bless/reward you for your efforts on spreading Dawatus-Salafiyyah, may Allaah be good upon you.

How to reply back to this Shubhah:

“This is a matter of dunyaa and we can differ upon…” (Quote abridged by admin)

    Jazaak’Allaahu khayran.

    • وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته

Don’t get pulled into argumentation, but rather obey Allah, the Blessed and Most High, by referring back to the people of knowledge in matters connected to a global emergency, whether it is medical in its origin, or physical, or anything else, as the people of knowledge consult the most appropriate specialists when needed and gather accurate and reliable information in a more precise and beneficial way than anyone else, and they are most knowledgeable about Allah’s rulings and how to apply them to these emergency situations, and this is why Allah orders us to refer these matters back to them.
Obey Allah and return matters of broad concern to the people of knowledge!

  5. السلام عليكم ورحمة الله

    1. I’m really trying to understand here, let me clarify. Yes, we look to the scholars like Mufti (Saudi), Shaykh Fawzan with high esteem as they’re our senior scholars (May Allah preserve them) but what about those scholars who preceded them like Shaykh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) who said it’s better to avoid it? Is someone blameworthy for following those scholars because they believe the evidences they provided is more correct and so they avoid the vaccine?

    2. Also, can you provide a source for the recent numbers you mentioned by Muslim health officials? Other officials put out numbers too but I would rather have something from Muslims. [Slightly abridged by admin]

    • وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته

      1. In a specific emergency situation, we return the matter to the most capable scholars who are alive and living through the emergency with us. Just like when there is war or strife, or other situation when human lives are on the line, anyone can research and pull things out of books from the past and claim to be “following the scholars”, but the actual living scholars are those capable of applying the rulings of Allah to the exact scenario we are living through, and this is why Allah commands us to refer to them in emergencies, when He says:

The Mufti, Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azeez Aal ash-Shaykh (may Allah preserve him), clarified this essential methodology in interacting with emergency situations, when he said:

And whatever issues are connected to broad public concern are referred back to those in [official positions of] authority, those who consult with the people of knowledge and specialization [of specific relevant fields], as He, the Most High, has said: [what means] “And when there comes to them a matter of safety or fear, they spread it openly. Yet had they only referred it back to the Messenger and those in authority among them, those of them capable of extracting its ruling would have done so. And had it not been for the Favor of Allah upon you, and His Mercy, you would have followed the Shaytaan, save a few.” [4:83]

      2. To access the most recent statistics from the Saudi Health Department, follow their twitter: https://twitter.com/SaudiMOH, and here is a graphic dated 1443/2/11 (Sept. 18, 2021) mentioning the global death toll from Covid-19 as: 4,694,210. [click here]

      And Allah knows best.

  6. How do the scholars respond to the arguments presented by those scholars who reject contagion in absolute terms? An article about this issue would be beneficial. It would clarify alot I think.
