Yet, in our court system (1), it is required to stand for the judge when he arrives, and this is enforced. What is your opinion about this?<\/p>\n<p><strong>ANSWER<\/strong>\u00a0by the great scholar, jurist, appointed mufti, and member of the Permanent Committee for Research and Fatwaa in Saudi Arabia, <strong>Shaykh &#8216;Abdullaah ibn Ghudayyaan<\/strong>\u00a0[d.1431] (may Allah have Mercy on him):<\/p>\n<p>The Messenger (may Allah raise his rank and grant him peace) said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u0645\u0646 \u0623\u062d\u0628 \u0623\u0646 \u064a\u062a\u0645\u062b\u0644 \u0644\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0646\u0627\u0633 \u0642\u064a\u0627\u0645\u0627 \u0641\u0644\u064a\u062a\u0628\u0648\u0623 \u0645\u0642\u0639\u062f\u0647 \u0645\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0646\u0627\u0631<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>&#8220;Whoever likes that the people stand up for him, let him take his seat in the Fire.&#8221;<\/strong> (2)<\/p>\n<p>This is because standing is a form of worship from among the various forms of worship. Regarding the prayer, for example, Allah, the Majestic and Lofty, says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u0648\u0642\u0648\u0645\u0648\u0627 \u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0642\u0627\u0646\u062a\u064a\u0646<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>&#8220;And stand unto Allah, devoutly in worship.&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0[2:238]<\/p>\n<p>So standing is a form of worship from among the various forms of worship.
