In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Ever-Merciful…<\/em><\/p>\n

Previously, we have\u00a0highlighted the goal of Yasir Qadhi\u00a0<\/strong>to replace the role of the scholars of Islaam in the lives of Muslims in the West\u00a0with a band of entertainers called Almaghrib Institute<\/strong>. [See this.]<\/a><\/p>\n

This bitter reality hit many of\u00a0Almaghrib Institute’s\u00a0supporters and sympathizers quite hard. While many\u00a0have been\u00a0turning in\u00a0their “qabeelah” memberships,\u00a0others remain loyal to this organization, despite the obvious direction taken by Yasir Qadhi and his associates to cut them off from Islaam’s scholars. After many years of gradual indoctrination,\u00a0victims of this exclusive brand of hizbiyyah<\/em> (partisanship)\u00a0will not find it\u00a0easy to\u00a0step away, except for those whom Allaah blesses with guidance and stability.<\/p>\n

Recently, the great senior scholar, Shaykh Saalih ibn Fowzaan\u00a0al-Fowzaan<\/strong> (may Allaah preserve him) was asked about\u00a0the\u00a0words of Yasir Qadhi:<\/p>\n

Virtuous shaykh -may Allaah give you success- there is a questioner from America who asks: There is a person in America who always says that the scholars in this land do not know the situation of the Muslims in America. Accordingly, we do not accept their verdicts. He repeats this often. What is your advice about this and what\u00a0instructions\u00a0do you offer?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

His\u00a0profound and insightful\u00a0reply confirms the correctness of\u00a0what Ahlus-Sunnah in\u00a0the West have been saying about Yasir Qadhi\u00a0for years! He\u00a0replied:<\/p>\n

They (the scholars) possess the knowledge that Allaah sent down, and they give verdicts about halaal and haraam, the halaal and the haraam in America and elsewhere, everywhere on earth. Haraam\u00a0matters are impermissible\u00a0in every place, and halaal matters are permissible in\u00a0every place.<\/p>\n

A scholar gives verdicts to anyone in the world, with beneficial knowledge.<\/p>\n

This is takh-theel<\/strong> (leading people into forsaking the scholars). The one who says this kind of speech is\u00a0leading the people into forsaking (the scholars). He wants to separate you from your scholars! Yes! So do not accept this speech from him.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For those who do not know:<\/strong> This is exactly<\/strong><\/em> what Yasir Qadhi teaches. [proof]<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

With these abundantly clear words coming from\u00a0a major scholar of the Muslim Ummah like Shaykh Saalih al-Fowzaan<\/strong> (may Allaah preserve him), we pray that our brothers and sisters in Islaam who have been caught up in the AlMaghrib Institute trap can face the reality of what they have been involved in. We pray they\u00a0will seek Allaah’s Assistance and\u00a0remove themselves from harm’s way\u00a0before the deal is sealed and they end up pinched off entirely from the scholars, and as a result, from the rest of the Ummah, and\u00a0from the Islamic knowledge that they claim to seek after as well.<\/p>\n

May Allaah save us and\u00a0our brothers and sisters in Islaam from the\u00a0schemes\u00a0of Shaytaan and his allies. And Allaah knows best.<\/p>\n

May Allaah raise the rank of our Messenger Muhammad and grant him and his family and Companions peace.<\/p>\n
