{"id":3611,"date":"2013-12-31T05:23:22","date_gmt":"2013-12-31T05:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/?p=3611"},"modified":"2020-07-05T17:29:04","modified_gmt":"2020-07-05T17:29:04","slug":"the-five-basic-human-rights-or-essentials-islaam-safeguards-and-honors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/the-five-basic-human-rights-or-essentials-islaam-safeguards-and-honors.htm","title":{"rendered":"The Five Basic Human Rights (Or Essentials) Islaam Safeguards and Honors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Question:<\/strong> What are the five basic human rights, or essentials, that\u00a0Allaah safeguarded for the people through the\u00a0message and mission\u00a0of each and every prophet He sent?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong> They\u00a0are as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ad-Deen (The Religion)<\/li>\n<li>An-Nafs (Physical Safety)<\/li>\n<li>An-Nasl, or An-Nasab (Ancestry and Lineage)<\/li>\n<li>Al-&#8216;Aql (Intellect)<\/li>\n<li>Al-Maal (Property)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Question:<\/strong> What is the proof for these five basic human rights?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong> They are based on the scholars&#8217;\u00a0<em><strong>istiqraa&#8217;<\/strong> <\/em>(extracting something from the generality of the entire message) of not only the Quran and the Sunnah, but also\u00a0from the previous legislations as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Question:<\/strong> Are they mentioned specifically in the Quran?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong> Yes, they have been mentioned in <em>Soorah al-An&#8217;aam<\/em> [6:151-152]:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_151.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3612\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_151.png\" alt=\"6_151\" width=\"675\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_151.png 675w, https:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_151-300x147.png 300w, https:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_151-500x245.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0Say (O Muhammad): &#8220;Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Do not join anything<!--more--> in worship with Him; be good and dutiful to your parents; do not kill your children fearing\u00a0poverty &#8211; We provide\u00a0for you and for them; do not go near\u00a0fawaahish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse, etc.), whether committed openly or secretly, and do not kill\u00a0anyone whom Allaah has forbidden, except by right (through an Islaamic legal system). This is what He has commanded you with so that you might understand.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_152.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3613\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_152.png\" alt=\"6_152\" width=\"675\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_152.png 675w, https:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_152-300x121.png 300w, https:\/\/www.bakkah.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/6_152-500x202.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And\u00a0do not go near\u00a0the orphan&#8217;s property, except to improve it, until he (or she) attains the age of full strength; and give full measure and full weight with justice. We do not burden\u00a0any person except with\u00a0what\u00a0he can bear. And whenever you speak, say the truth, even if a near relative is concerned, and fulfill the Covenant of Allaah, This is what\u00a0He commands you with, so that you might remember.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Question:<\/strong> Where are these five basic human rights mentioned in the above Verses exactly?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer:<\/strong> They\u00a0can be\u00a0referenced as follows:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>1. Ad-Deen (The Religion)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n&#8220;<i>Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: <b>Do not join anything in worship with Him&#8230;&#8221;<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>2.
