However,\u00a0<em>i&#8217;tikaaf<\/em> has more to do with\u00a0specific acts\u00a0of obdedience, such as prayer, remembrance, recitation of Quran, etc. There is no problem if the one performing <em>i&#8217;tikaaf<\/em> attends a lesson or two during the day or night,\u00a0as this does not affect the (validity of)\u00a0<em>i&#8217;tikaaf<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>However<!--more-->, if the\u00a0classes are continuous, and he begins\u00a0reviewing (and focusing heavily on)\u00a0his lessons,\u00a0attending many sittings that distract\u00a0him from\u00a0his (more) personal\u00a0acts of (private) worship, then no doubt, his <em>i&#8217;tikaaf<\/em> would be deficient.
